EECS International students speak out on why they signed their union cards! International students are members, leaders and organizers in the MIT Graduate Student Union. They make up the backbone of the MIT grad student community and are key to MIT's international reputation, yet lack resources & protections to fulfill research, learning, teaching, and professional goals. From affordable housing, to comprehensive health benefits, to fair policies around CPT and remote appointments, international students are speaking out about the need to come together to have collective bargaining power by forming their union!
